Salmon - Several salmon species swim from the Great Lakes and its tributaries to the Georgian Bay and French River Delta. The Chinook or King Salmon and  Pink Salmon - Humpback begin their fall run in late August to early September.  Predator fish, pike and muskie, patrol these waterways awaiting their next meal.  Following the Pink Salmon are Coho or Silver Salmon and finally, the king of Salmon - the giant Chinook.
